Style should be ageless and being well-dressed says a lot about the woman you are. Dressing fashionable sets the tone for how you would like to present yourself while living your best life. Having an updated wardrobe that fits your body well will build your confidence and put the bounce back into your step. Below are 10 fashion tips and styling suggestions to build a more confident, well-dressed you.

    1. How youthful can I dress?
Golden Rule: You can comfortably dress within 15 years of the age you look. Let’s face it, women are looking younger and younger today. Ages 35 and up trends work best on ages 50 and up.
    2. No matter what age you are living…NEVER give up on fashion Nothing ages you more than a dull, outdated wardrobe.
    3. Update your hairdo
Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that long hair will make you look younger. Long locks can age you and draw your face down. Get an updated cut and color to regain your youth.
    4. Get rid of those “mom jeans”
Invest in high-quality premium denim. There are so many styles and cuts of jeans to choose from to fit all body types: boot leg, slim, low rise, straight leg, etc. A good quality stretch denim is your friend.
    5. Accessorize
Would you serve a cake with no icing? Of course not. Jewelry is the icing on the cake! There is no easier way to dress up any outfit in your wardrobe. Try a statement necklace, a bold bracelet, a statement ring, a pair of fun trendy earrings, or even a scarf! These will draw attention to your face, not your body.
    6. Know your body shape & work with it to flatter the new figure that has emerged
You have earned every curve, embrace it!
    7. Invest in higher quality garments that are timeless
They have better fit and are constructed to last.
    8. Add color to your black wardrobe
As you age, color will be more flattering on your skin tone.
    9. Invest in timeless shoes
A loafer, block heel pump, bootie, tall boot and an all-white sneaker will go with any outfit at any age.
    10. Invest in outerwear
Outerwear can make an outfit look more expensive and pulled together. Examples are a classic denim jacket, blazer, moto jacket, cardigan, bomber jacket, trench coat or vest.

Age is just a number. When you update yourself and your wardrobe no one will be able to guess your real age and most importantly you’ll feel more beautiful inside and out because you’ll feel more confident.
